Syracuse suspends defensive ends Qaadir Sheppard, Amir Ealey

Sunday November 15th, 2015

Syracuse has indefinitely suspended defensive ends Qaadir Sheppard and Amir Ealey for a violation of team policy, the team announced Saturday.

Sheppard and Ealey, who are freshmen, sat out Saturday’s 37–27 loss to No. 1 Clemson

Sheppard has one tackle and one interception in nine games this season. Ealey has appeared in seven games, largely on special teams, and made one tackle.

Syracuse is 3–7 after opening 3–0, and has two games remaining to stop its losing slide, at NC State next week and vs. Boston College Nov. 28.
