Florida WR Demarcus Robinson suspended for game vs. Florida State

Saturday November 28th, 2015

Florida Gators wide receiver Demarcus Robinson has been suspended for Saturday’s game against Florida State, the team announced.

A reason for the suspension was not given other than Robinson violated team rules. In their announcement, the Gators said Robinson “made a choice” and will not play against the Seminoles.

Robinson has a team-leading 47 catches for 502 yards and two touchdowns this season. This is Robinson’s second benching this season and fourth suspension overall.

Robinson is listed as a starter on the Gators’ depth chart. Ahmad Fulwood is listed as his backup.
