(STATS) - Kickoff for Saturday's FCS playoff quarterfinal between Colgate and Sam Houston State has been moved to noon Eastern time because of severe weather in the forecast for Huntsville, Texas, later in the day.

Both teams are unseeded, with Patriot League champion Colgate (9-4) trying to advance to the final four for the first time since 2003 and Southland Conference power Sam Houston State (10-3) seeking a semifinals berth for the fourth time in five years.

The game, which was originally scheduled to start at 8 pm Eastern, will be broadcast on ESPN3.

The winner of the matchup will meet either No. 8 seed Charleston Southern or No. 1 seed Jacksonville State, who meet Friday night, next weekend.
