Monday December 14th, 2015

Kansas State defensive tackle Bryce English has decided to transfer after his father was diagnosed with bone marrow cancer, he announced on Twitter.

“This decision was hard for me but I've sat down with my family and talked it over and I've prayed everyday to God about this decision,” English wrote. “My father has been diagnosed with bone cancer but I have all the faith in the world that he is gonna [sic] beat it. I would like to thank Coach Snyder and the whole Kansas State Coaching Staff for giving me the opportunity to be apart [sic] of such a great team and great University.”

The freshman said that he will be looking at schools in Texas in an effort to be closer to his family.
