South Carolina will retain Shawn Elliott as its offensive line coach.
Elliott, South Carolina’s offensive line coach for six years, served as the team’s interim head coach this season after former coach Steve Spurrier resigned in October.
The Gamecocks went 1–5 with Elliott at the helm, including a five-game losing streak to finish the season. South Carolina hired Muschamp to replace Elliott earlier this month.
“I am pleased to keep Shawn on the staff,” Muschamp told The State. “He loves the University of South Carolina and has done a fantastic job here.”
On Monday, South Carolina also announced the hiring of Jeff Dillman as the school’s strength and conditioning coach.
