Baylor wide receiver Corey Coleman, running back Shock Linwood and quarterback Jarrett Stidham will miss the Russell Athletic Bowl with injuries, head coach Art Briles told reporters Saturday.

Briles said that Coleman will undergo surgery for a hernia, while Linwood had surgery for a fracture in his foot. The coach added that Stidham will also miss the game against the Tar Heels after the true freshman broke a bone in his ankle in November. Redshirt freshman Chris Johnson has started in two game for Baylor since Stidham’s injury and is expected to start at quarterback instead.

Coleman, who won the Biletnikoff Award given to the nation’s top receiver, announced last Saturday that he plans to enter the upcoming NFL draft. The wide receiver has caught 74 passes for 1,363 yards and 20 touchdowns this season. Linwood has served as Baylor’s leading rusher this season, picking up 1329 yards and 10 touchdowns off of 196 carries.

The Bears (9–3) will play North Carolina (11–2) on Dec. 29.
