An exciting Pinstripe Bowl between Duke and Indiana ended on a controversial missed field goal for Duke’s first bowl win since 1961.
Indiana lined up to kick a field goal on the second possession of overtime with a chance to tie things at 44. Griffin Oakes’s kick went over the right upright and was ruled no good. However, replay showed an extremely narrow margin of error on the miss and sparked some debate about the quality of the ruling.
The play is non-reviewable, and Duke walked off with the controversial win.
