The Houston Cougars and Florida State Seminoles face off in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl at the Georgia Dome on Thursday.

Florida State finished the regular season 10–2 after defeating in-state rival Florida 27–2 on Nov. 28. Running back Dalvin Cook had an impressive showing, rushing for 183 yards and two touchdowns in the win. The Seminoles have won three straight games since losing to top-ranked Clemson 23–13 on Nov. 7.

Houston concluded its season with a 12–1 record and defeated Temple 24–13 to win the American Athletic Conference championship on Dec. 5. Quarterback Greg Ward Jr. rushed for 148 yards and two touchdowns in the title-clinching victory.
