Alabama reserve quarterback Alec Morris has announced his plans to transfer to North Texas for his final year of eligibility.
“Excited to start this next chapter..Go mean green,” Morris wrote on Twitter on Thursday.
The Denton Record Chronicle first reported that Morris would transfer last month.
Morris served as Alabama’s third-string quarterback the past two seasons.
In his time with the Crimson Tide, the redshirt junior saw action in just nine games. He completed one six-yard pass.
