Valpo seeks turnaround in 2016

(STATS) - Valparaiso hopes to get back on track next season in an 11-game schedule that was announced Thursday.

The Crusaders from the Pioneer Football League dropped to 1-9 last season. They went 4-8 in 2014, which was coach Dave Cecchini's first season and marked their best finish since 2007.

As they seek a turnaround in 2016, the Crusaders will play five home games at Brown Field: against Trinity International (Sept. 17) and PFL opponents Davidson (Sept. 24), Drake (Oct. 8), Butler (Oct. 29) and Jacksonville (Nov. 12).
