Four-star safety Lamar Jackson commits to Nebraska

Four-star safety Lamar Jackson has committed to Nebraska, he announced in a video released by Bleacher Report on Tuesday. 

Jackson is’s top-ranked safety from California and the country’s seventh-best player at his position in the class of 2016.

The Elk Grove, Calif. native chose the Cornhuskers over Arizona and Arizona State, among others.

Jackson, who made his official visit to Lincoln in November, is the highest ranking recruit in Nebraska’s 2016 class. He was an Under Armour All-America selection this year, as well as a participant in The Opening camp, which is an event for the top recruits in the nation.
