Alabama remains 2016 title favorite in updated odds

Monday June 6th, 2016

Alabama remains the early favorite to repeat as national champions for the 2016 season based on Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook odds, according to ESPN's Brett McMurphy.

The Crimson Tide hold 5-1 odds despite losing Heisman Trophy winning running back Derrick Henry to the NFL.

Clemson, Michigan and Oklahoma hold 7-1 odds, with Ohio State at 8-1.

Baylor's title odds plunged from 15-1 to 60-1 following the firing of head coach Art Briles in the wake of the program's sexual assault scandal. Briles was fired May 26 after a Pepper Hamilton report outlined the extent of the mishandling of sexual assault allegations that occurred under the coach's watch.
