Four-star linebacker Willie Gay announced his commitment to Ole Miss on Friday.
Gay, a native of Starkville, Miss., tweeted his decision out, choosing the Rebels over LSU, Michigan, Mississippi State, Ole Miss and South Carolina.
He described Ole Miss as “the place where I feel I can make an early impact and be the greatest to ever come through at the LB position.”
Scout.com ranks Gay as the 93rd best player in the 2017 class, the fifth best outside linebacker and the top recruit in Mississippi.
Gay stands 6'1 1/2" with a 4.62 second 40-yard dash time.
