Four-star linebacker Santino Marchiol has committed to Texas A&M.
Marchiol is the No. 29 linebacker prospect in the class of 2017, according to Scout. He is currently attending the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla.
Marchiol chose the Aggies over offers from Florida State, Florida, Ohio State and Miami.
“It was a long, hard recruiting process and it’s really tricky with every school telling you the same thing that they want you and there was a lot of reading between the lines with my recruiting,” Marchiol told 247 Sports. “At Texas A&M, I felt like it was the only place where they wanted me to be the first to commit but they never pressured me into it like these other places. I had a great relationship with everyone there, the players and the coaches.”
Texas A&M currently has the No. 15 ranked class for 2017.
