Four-star cornerback Chevin Calloway has committed to Iowa, he announced Monday.

Calloway is the No. 109-ranked prospect in the country, according to Scout. Calloway is also the No. 1 ranked cornerback in the state of Texas.

He chose the Hawkeyes over offers from Alabama, Miami and Texas.

"Loved it," Calloway told Scout about his trip to Iowa in June. "Great coaches, great players, great alumni, great development in young men they try and help to be successful not just in football, but in life."

Iowa currently has the No. 17-ranked class in the country.
