J'den Cox wants to play football for Missouri after his wrestling days are over.
Olympic bronze medalist J'den Cox says he would like to play a season of college football for the Missouri Tigers, he said at a reception upon his return to campus on Wednesday.
Cox won a bronze medal in the men's 86-kilogram freestyle with a torn meniscus in his final takedown. He underwent surgery after Rio and is expected to be ready for his senior wrestling season.
He has won two NCAA titles in wrestling but wants to give his talents on the gridiron a try in 2017.
