Texas climbs to No. 20 in Coaches Poll after beating Notre Dame

The Week 2 Coaches Poll is out, with some big changes after a thrilling round of high-profile Week 1 games.

The Texas Longhorns enjoyed a major boost in the Week 2 Coaches Poll after defeating Notre Dame in their opener, leaping up 12 spots to crack the Top 25 at No. 20.

Week 1’s biggest game resulted in Notre Dame fall 12 spots from No. 9 accordingly, landing directly behind Texas at No. 21.

Wisconsin’s win over LSU also sparked big movement, pulling the Badgers up 11 places to No. 16, and dropping the Tigers all the way from No. 6 to No. 22.

Ole Miss dropped from No. 12 to No. 18 after losing to Florida State, and Oklahoma is down from No. 3 to No. 13 after losing to Houston.
