Even the bellringer gyrates more slowly

Tuesday August 23rd, 2011

If you're one of the few remaining denizens of the Internet not following Mike Leach on Twitter, he is an essential part of your social media day. He's got a question for his followers, and the answer may be "the utter absence of Mike Leach from a skipper's chair." I'd tell him Tommy Tuberville took the Red Raiders from 115th nationally in rushing offense in 2009  to 75th in 2010, and that in exchange they fell from seventh nationally in scoring to 23rd and lost four huge conference rivalry games, but I suspect he already knows that. Come back soon, Cap'n, and stride a sideline like you were meant to do. This game is infinitely paler in your absence.
