There is never a dull moment when it comes to Oregon's uniforms, a notion that extends even to spring practice in Eugene. The Ducks announced they will wear new Nike-designed uniforms to honor U.S. troops during Saturday's annual spring game.

The uniforms will feature the phrase "SUPPORT OUR TROOPS" written across both the home and away jersey nameplates:

“Words cannot express our gratitude to the men and women who serve our country and this is why we will continue to salute our armed services as part of our spring game,” Oregon head coach Mark Helfrich said in a statement. “Obviously we are extremely fortunate that Nike has chosen to play a major role with their innovative uniforms designed for this special day.”

Oregon players will present the jerseys to approximately 100 troops representing all branches of the military in attendance at Saturday's scrimmage.
