TCU QB Casey Pachall has surgery on forearm, to miss playing time
TCU starting quarterback Casey Pachall left Saturday's game against Southeastern Louisiana with an injured forearm, and it looks like the Horned Frogs will be without Pachall for some time.
According to Stefan Stevenson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Pachall had surgery on Saturday and is expected to miss significant time.
Pachall braced a fall with his left arm in the first half and was subsequently helped to the locker room. He went 8-of-14 for 100 passing yards and carried six times for 12 rushing yards before leaving the game. Trevone Boykin, who replaced Pachall last season after Pachall left the team, led the Horned Frogs to three straight scoring drives in the second half.
Pachall was seen in the concourse of TCU's Amon G. Carter Stadium and appeared to have a sling on his arm.
