SMU QB Garrett Gilbert tosses crazy two-point conversion

Saturday October 5th, 2013

SMU quarterback Garrett Gilbert engineered some magic for the Mustangs late in the fourth quarter on Saturday. After finding wide receiver Jeremy Johnson for a 13-yard touchdown strike -- Gilbert's fifth of the day -- the passer hit Johnson again with a wild, scrambling two-point conversion to tie things up, 35-35, against Rutgers. The Scarlet Knights emerged in three overtimes, however, by a score of 55-52. (H/T @jimmytraina)
