After an early 63-yard touchdown, Wisconsin senior wide receiver Jared Abbrederis suffered a head injury that will keep him out of the rest of the Badgers' game against Northwestern.

Abbrederis (35 catches, 646 yards, 5 touchdowns) is Wisconsin's most surehanded receiver, and his big play ability in the Baders' past few games, including a 207-yard performance in the team's 31-24 loss to Ohio State, gave sophomore quarterback Joel Stave a safety valve when defenses keyed in on the Wisconsin rushing attack. He has recorded at least 60 yards in every game this season.
