Bo Pelini and Nebraska were staring down a second consecutive defeat, as they faced as 24-21 deficit with four seconds remaining against Northwestern on Saturday. Yet on second-and-10 from the Wildcats' 49-yard line, Cornhuskers quarterback Ron Kellogg III uncorked a last-ditch Hail Mary heave into the end zone. The ball sailed through the air, deflected off a group of players at the edge of the goal line and landed in the hands of Nebraska wide receiver Jordan Westerkamp for the winning score.

The Huskers escaped with a 27-24 win to improve to 6-2. Northwestern lost its fifth straight to drop to 4-5.

The catch was Westerkamp's first-career touchdown reception. Not a bad way to start things off.
