Missouri continues to show support for Michael Sam with on-field message

Monday February 10th, 2014

The Missouri community has done a wonderful job supporting Michael Sam. On Sunday night, the former Tigers defensive end announced that he is gay, and as he prepares to enter the NFL draft, Sam is set to become the first openly gay player in the NFL.

On Monday, some fans came up with a creative way to show their support: a message written in the snow at Faurot Field.

The University of Missouri expressed its support of Sam in a message from its official Twitter account on Sunday night.
