The pride of Yulee, Fla., broke a 59-year-old record previously held by Ken Hall of Sugarland, Texas, by surpassing Hall's 11,232 career rushing yards in November.

The son of former NFL Pro Bowler Fred Taylor, Kelvin started for Glades Day School in Belle Glade, Fla., beginning in eighth grade. Bound for Florida just like his father was, he finished his high school career with 12,019 rushing yards, 192 touchdowns and two state championships.

Considered a late bloomer by some pundits, Kamara was arguably the best running back in Georgia this season. The all-purpose dynamo anchored Norcross High's state championship run with more than 1,500 yards and 20 touchdowns. Kamara signed with Alabama on Signing Day.
