Bowl Projections: Tulane In, Tennessee Out of New Year’s Six

Our College Football Playoff picture stayed the same from last week, but there are some changes in the other marquee bowls.

The bowl eligibility picture is coming together. There are a few holes where a five-win team could plug in, but for the most part, the games are filled with six-win bowl-eligible teams the old-fashioned way. Next weekend will almost certainly determine at least the Big Ten's contribution to the College Football Playoff with Ohio State and Michigan facing off at The Horseshoe. We’ll also see USC in a big spot against Notre Dame and TCU against an Iowa State team that isn't its normal tricky self.
