Depending on attrition, Alabama could add a grad transfer for next season. Here is some interesting info a friend sent me:

The Ivy League doesn't allow 5th year eligibilty. Two of the top three grad transfers, who will be immediately eligible, according to ESPN are #1 Seth Towns, a 6'7" wing from Harvard who shoots 44% from 3 and was past Ivy League player of the year but got hurt last two years, and #3 Mike Smith from Columbia, a 5'11" PG who shoots 41% from 3.

There is a definitely need for a point if Kira leaves. Another player to consider: 6'10" 230 lb Patrick Tape, also from Columbia and elibible immediately. He is ranked #8, shoots 66% from field, averages 11pts, 6 rbs a game. Not sure if Tape is a "rim protector" but that's a missing piece right now for Oats.

DISCLAIMER: None of the above players may even visit Alabama, but I'm told Oats knows the deal re Ivy League not allowing year 5 guys to play. The rest and the list is speculation.

Towns would be a fantastic get.

Tape' intrigues due to the need for a rim protector but buased on what I've read it may be too late to get in on him. He's taken several visits including Syracuse.
