Nick Saban and the Alabama Crimson Tide already have the nation's top recruiting class.

But that didn't stop the Crimson Tide from adding one more prospect to its 2023 class.

Loaded with nine five-stars and 18 four-stars, Alabama added its second three-star in this year's class — a local product.

Sawyer Deerman, a 5-foot-10, 175-pound athlete, can do it all. He can play quarterback, running back, wide receiver, return kicks and punts — really anything a coach asks.

Deerman grew up in Tuscaloosa. He played for American Christian Academy and Hillcrest High School before transferring to Tuscaloosa County High School for his senior season.

Deerman also received offers from Tennessee, Georgia Tech, Maryland, Michigan State, Ole Miss, UCF and Western Kentucky.

He has decided to stay home and play for the Crimson Tide.

247Sports has Deerman as the No. 74 player in the state of Alabama.
