Arizona SI Pac-12 Preseason Picks

On Tuesday the Pac-12 held their media day where media members pick their preseason All-Pac-12 team and predicted order of finish. Arizona SI staffers Brad Allis, Anthony Gimino and Gary Randazzo did their own mini-poll.

2. Arizona 33 points

3. Colorado 29 points

4. Washington 28 points

5. USC 20 points

6. Arizona State 20 points

7. Oregon State 19 points

8. UCLA 17 points

9. Utah 14 points

10. Stanford 9 points

11. Cal 5 points

12. Washington State 4 points

Oregon and Arizona were the unanimous first and second choices, but all three writers gave the Ducks the edge due to a little more experience coming back and a slightly higher rated recruiting class.

Colorado got the edge for third place with two of the three voters placing them over Washington.

USC seemed a bit polarizing as two of the three voters had the Trojans tabbed fourth, but one had the young team picked seventh. Oregon State also had an outlier with two sixth place votes and one ninth. There was also a lack of consensus with picks of ninth, seventh and sixth.
