Hawaii coach celebrates win over Arizona on Twitter

Hawaii coach Nick Rolovich, a couple of hours after his team beat the Arizona Wildcats 45-38, decided to take a swing on Twitter.

He tweeted a photo of an ESPN graphic from its College GameDay show, picturing Lee Corso and Kirk Herbstreit and showing the group's predictions on the Arizona-Hawaii game. Corso, Herbstreit, Desmond Howard and guest picker Michael Irvin all picked the Cats.

Rolovich added one word to his tweet:

Maholo.

Thank you.

I doubt that the Warriors needed any extra motivation in the season-opener, or that having four guys pick against them was such a big deal -- Arizona was favored by about 11 points -- but, hey, whatever works. And his team did win, so he gets to pound his chest a little bit.

Agreed! It's amazing what teams can accomplish when they play with a chip on their shoulder, even if it's making something small look like the dis of all disses.

I love that he did that. Without bad mouthing AZ, he stuck up for his team.
