Oywak committed to the Wildcats over the summer but chose not to sign with the Wildcats after three member of the defensive staff were not retained.

Oywak, a native of Kent, WA visited the Cougars over the weekend and was a priority of the new coaching staff

Although most recruiting services consider him a 3-star prospect, 247Sports consider him a 4-star prospect and the No. 17 ranked corner back in the nation.

Hate to say it but WSU is building something special up there with Rolo. They got some big recruitment flips late including this one.

Had Oywak signed with Arizona he would have been their second highest-ranked addition behind 3-star all-purpose back Frank Brown. That's how bad our recruiting has gotten.

Can some benefactor(s) please buy out Sumlin, Heeke and any other dead weight associated with our football program?! Jesus Balls,. this is going to be brutal football season...

I agree. He was one of the top players at a position of need.

Huge blow to the class. It's unfortunate. But I don't see how they can replace him so late in the process.

What?! He does not want to play for coaches that have been on 6 (barley) winning teams in 50+ years of coaching?
