On Monday morning, Auburn University put out the following statement regarding the discussion about Bryan Harsin remaining as Auburn's head coach.

The Auburn administration is judiciously collecting information from a variety of perspectives, including our student-athletes, and moving swiftly to understand any issues in accordance with university policies and procedures. Decisions regarding the future of Auburn and its Athletics programs, as always, are made in the interests of our great university and in fairness to all concerned. We do not make institutional decisions based on social media posts or media headlines.

Harsin went 6-7 during his first season on The Plains and landed the 18th ranked recruiting class in the country.

He will be looking to hired his fifth coordinator in 14 months after defensive coordinator Derek Mason stepped away and landed with Oklahoma State and offensive coordinator Austin Davis stepped away to focus on family matters.
