Boston College took care of business on Saturday against NC State, running the ball and playing strong defense against the Wolfpack. In today's Stock Report we are going to take a look at the individual, unit and coaching performances and see whose stock rose and if anyone's stock fell after the game.

Stock Rose

AJ Dillon: At this point in his career it is hard to say that his stock has rose, given that Dillon has taken on near mythical status with the Eagles. But yesterday's game continued to build his legacy, 34 rushes for 223 yards and three touchdowns against the fifth ranked rushing defense in the country. He now sits 75 yards short of the team's all time record held by Andre Williams, what better way to break it than next week against Clemson.

David Bailey: Playing the role of Robin to Dillon's Batman, Bailey deserves to get the accolades as well based on what he gives the team. Two electric runs of 48 yards and 53 yards for touchdowns, Bailey has become as fun to watch as Dillon.

Offensive Line: What a game played by this entire unit. While they didn't have to do much in terms of pass blocking, they did keep Dennis Grosel clean the entire game, which is huge given that the Pack had 26 sacks going into this game. On top of that they were critical in helping the Eagles rush for 429 yards against an NC State defense that allowed 400 yards all season. Last year BC's line got a lot of positive accolades, and rightfully so, but this year's crew might be the best offensive line Steve Addazio has ever had.

Shitta Sillah: Bill Sheridan and Steve Addazio might have found something here in the freshman defensive end. Great energy, and in one game he appears to be a playmaker. I know coaches want to acclimate freshmen to the playbook and sometimes ease them in to the speed of college games, but Sillah seems ready and given how some of the other ends have played, he deserves more snaps going forward.

Max Richardson:  At this point I should probably just leave him in this section, as his stock rises seemingly every game. Richardson is becoming the quintessential playmaker on defense, leading the team in tackles, and racking up three tackles for loss yesterday.

Steve Addazio: Right when many were ready to write off the Eagles, and with his starting quarterback gone for the year, the head coach went out and put together a brilliant game plan that completely overwhelmed the Wolfpack. Nothing fancy, he knew what his team did well and he went out there and executed his game plan to perfection. Now we have seen this story before, where BC goes out and has a great game, and struggles to replicate it, Addazio is going to need to show that the Eagles can do this week in and week out.

Bill Sheridan: The defensive coordinator has been the target for a lot of heat recently as his defense has ranked near the bottom in almost every statistical category. He had his defense firing on Saturday, playing with energy and the group looked like a whole different group. They confounded Bailey Hockman, neutralized Zonovan Knight, and basically dominated the game. 14 of NC State's points came in meaningless garbage time. One area of concern were the two red zone stops, which on paper looked great, but better offenses will score there. But again, this is a small critique, and a tip of the cap is given to this whole crew.

Stock Down

Danny Longman: You know it's was a great game when the only area of concern you can come up with is the kickoff specialist. Longman had a tough game, with a handful of kicks out of bounds. Need to clean that up.
