Today's Red Bandana game has been a back and forth affair between the Eagles and Seminoles as BC leads FSU 14-10 at the half. Led by 166 of rushing yards, BC was able to move the ball, but not assert their will like they did against NC State and Syracuse.

Boston College marched down the field on their first drive, riding the physical running attack of AJ Dillon and David Bailey. After an 12 play statement drive quarterback Dennis Grosel hit Kobay White who was wide open in the end zone.

Florida State answered with a consistent eleven play drive of their own as quarterback James Blackman was able to move the ball around through the air, and Cam Akers was picking up good amount of yards every run, but BC locked down near the end zone and forced Florida State to kick a field goal to make it a 7-3 Boston College lead.

The Eagles and Noles traded off punts, and later in the second quarter David Bailey took two runs in FSU territory for the Eagles to score again. But it was that Boston College passing defense that let down the Eagles again as Blackman hit Tamorrion Terry for a 74 yard touchdown pass.

BC finished the half with some questionable clock management. Grosel was able to make a handful of third down conversions to Kobay White. On second down, Grosel was sacked, BC let the clock drain down and Aaron Boumerhi missed a 46 yard field goal to end the half.

Florida State will receive the ball to start the second half.
