Looks like BYU is taking a smaller group in 2021

John Garcia Jr.

Starting to see this in a lot of places, even the SEC believe it or not, with the maintenance of eligibility on the current roster a more conservative approach makes sense. BYU took a huge class last cycle and have hit on some priority targets/positions in 2021 thus far with Raider Damuni, and the Migao brothers in the trenches. Adding a couple more commits and calling it a class won't be flashy and feature the Coogs in the rankings, but it isn't the worst decision in this climate of roster management.

Offers aren't a perfect indicator by any means...mostly because not all offers are created equal. However, it certainly doesn't hurt when other schools have also evaluated the player and deemed him worthy of an offer.

I always struggle to judge a high school recruit. But it sure is nice to see some of the Byu recruits had offers to other P5 schools
