Cal Football Video: The Wit & Wisdom of Evan Weaver, Part 13 — Sweet Dreams

Cal linebacker Evan Weaver, on schedule to graduate next spring, says one of his favorite classes was a sleep class he took last fall.

The inspiration for taking the course was an article he read about former Stanford star and NFL running back Christian McCaffrey, who discussed the benefits of heathy sleep habits.

“I feel like it really helped me to figure out what helps me to go to sleep at night, what helps maybe if I’m staying up to get the equal amount of rest,” Weaver said of the class.

“I feel like it’s helped me in my performance on the football field.”

The preseason All-America star of Cal's defense also cited as one of his favorites a class on Roman history. “I thought it was awesome,” he said.
