Former Cal golfer Byeong-Hun An carded a three-under 69 for the second straight day on Sunday to climb into a tie for 28th place in the final standings of the BMW Championships at Medinah, Illinois.

An finished with a four-day score of nine-under 279 to wind up 16 stroke behind winner Justin Thomas. With a final-round 69 on Sunday, Thomas totaled a 25-under par score of 263, thanks in large part to a course-record 61 on Saturday.

Recent Cal grad Collin Morikkawa, who has enjoyed a stunning rookie season on the PGA tour, shot 71 in the final round and finished in a tie for 48th with a score of 283.

Max Homa, the third former Cal golfer in the event, finished in a tie for 61st at 286 after a six-over 78 on Sunday. Homa had five bogeys and a double-bogey in the final round after breaking par for three straight rounds.
