Former Lady Tiger Inks First Pro Deal

Former Lady Tiger Kobi Thornton has officially signed to play professionally overseas. She signed with Campus Promete Logrono in Logrono, Spain on Monday, marking the beginning of her professional career.

Earlier this spring, Thornton was drafted by the Atlanta Dream with the 25th overall pick of the WNBA Draft, before electing to forego the 2020 WNBA season.

She was a second team All-ACC selection following the 2018-19 season and finished her career #11 on Clemson’s all-time scoring list (1,440 points), #6 on Clemson’s career rebounds list (772) and #3 on Clemson’s career blocks list (143).
