Pregame update: Join me tonight for the massive defensive performance by Colorado that we are all expecting. Oregon could get held to 500 yards tonight.

8:05 update: Laviska will play.

8:08 update: Defensive holding on CU in a running play. Sounds like communist propaganda but OK.

8:11 p.m.: Good land, this is exactly what I expected.

8:13 p.m.: Touchdown Oregon, 7-0 Ducks.

8:18 p.m: CU must score on this, and every, possession.

8:19 p.m.: CU punts. Ballgame?

8:22 p.m.: Big stop for the Buffs defense. String together 1-2 of these and you never know.

8:37 p.m.: Would it kill Mel Tucker to wear a collared shirt?

8:37 p.m.: Chill out, I’m kidding.

8:40 p.m.: Colorado settles for a field goal, which will lose this game eventually. 7-3, Ducks.

8:49 p.m.: Now DT Jalen Sami looks hurt. This is becoming sad/funny. But mainly sad. Like ... you know how comedy = tragedy + time? That’s the CU defense.

8:59 p.m.: Oregon averaged 14.5 yards per completion in the first quarter. I’m no expert but that seems good.

9 p.m.: Has CU had a good return this year?

9:02 p.m.: Legit have never seen the name Deommodore before. Big-time name.

9:07 p.m.: Another stop for CU. Am I dumb?

9:08: Oregon TE Jacob Breelamd is out for the rest of the game. He’s a big weapon for Oregon.

9:13 p.m.: This is actually the kind of game Mel Tucker wants to play. Guess we’ll see about that.

9:16 p.m.: Oregon goes up 17-3 halfway through the second. Colorado is going to have to make some huge plays on special teams or else this thing is over.

9:42 p.m.: The end of the first half could have gone worse for Colorado, but only if weed was de-legalized.

Halftime: Welp.

10:07 p.m.: Hot damn! CU leads in time of possession!

10:08 p.m: Still waiting for a half-decent return on special teams.

10:11 p.m.: Montez is good, but he’s not good enough to make up for the rest of the team. Will someone make a play? Way too much pressure on the offense.

10:17 p.m.: I predicted 48-20. Worried about the 20.

10:23 p.m.: Be kind to Montez. Nobody on the whole team has made a play all night and he’s the only one who has to take the ball every snap.

10:25 p.m.: Everyone put in the walk-ones? Is the third quarter too early?

10:27 p.m.: Anybody got any gum?

10:32 p.m.: Hello Darkness, my old friend ....

10:35 p.m.: Maybe CU should change school colors?

10:37 p.m.: Montez has 4 interceptions, a career high.

10:50 p.m.: Jalen Harris tossed for throwing a punch. What do y’all want from me at this point?

11:18 p.m.: Colorado got “big-boy’d” tonight, as more than one coach has expressed it to me. Too fast, too strong, too precise. Oregon, ranked 13th, showed Colorado what the difference was.

Oregon wins, 45-3z
