USC quarterback J.T. Daniels has entered the transfer portal. Daniels was a five-star quarterback coming out of Mater Dei High School.

He reclassified to the 2018 class when he was originally going to graduate in 2019. He would have been the top quarterback in the 2020 class. He excelled as a starter his freshman season with Tee Martin as the offensive coordinator.

He tore his ACL in the first game of the season this past year and Kedon Slovis took over at quarterback. Slovis had an impeccable season and is expected to be the starter in 2020. Slovis will be a sophomore while Daniels will be a redshirt sophomore.

The Buffaloes have room to take an additional transfer and they were rumored to be in the quarterback transfer market before Sam Noyer decided to return a few weeks ago.
