Duke Scoring List Update: Georgia State

Tre Jones passes some one-and-done point guards

Joey Baker (8 points, giving him 21 for his career) moved up 18 spots to 342, passing Eric Boateng, Joe Brand, Stan Brunson, Jordan Davidson, Ted Mann and Lang Hobgood, and tying Joey Beard. (That’s Duke’s Joey Scoring Record, although there are Joe’s that scored more.) Baker also moved into a tie for 91 (with Michael Gbinije, JD Simpson and Sheldon Williams) on Duke’s Three-Pointer list

Wendell Moore (2 points, 24 career) moved up four spots to 336, passing Frank Harscher and Olek Czyz and tying Dewitt Shy and Ernest Pergerm.

Matthew Hurt (4 points, 43 career) moved up one spot to 308, passing JD Simpson.

Vernon Carey Jr. (20 points, 59 career) broke a tie with Matthew Hurt and moved up 17 spots to 292, passing Cassius Stanley, JD Simpson, Christian Ast, Semi Ojeleye, Andre Buckner and Bruce Bell and tying Jeff Burdette.

Cassius Stanley (7 points, 52 career) moved up seven spots to 298, passing Semi Ojeleye, Jay Beal, Harold Hibbitts, Dick Rosenthal, Tom Cordell, Larry Bateman and Bob Jamieson.

Jack White (1 point, 196 career) broke a tie with Crawford Palmer and tied Dick Johnson for 222.

Javin DeLaurier (1 point, 298 career) broke a tie with Kenny Blakeney to take sole possession of 178.

Tre Jones (31 points, 406 career) moved up eight spots to 156, passing Dayton Allen, Bob Gantt, Trevon Duval, Garland Loftis, Frank Jackson, Dave Scarborough, Glenn Price and Mike Chappell. Jones also moved up three spots on the Duke assists list, to 42, passing Seth Curry, Vince Taylor and Mason Plumlee. Next up is his brother. And Jones passed Carmen Wallace, Corey Maggette, Nick Horvath and Trevon Duval on the Duke Three Pointers list, tying Jack White and Billy McCaffrey for 62.

Alex O’Connell didn’t score, but he tied Cam Reddish for 172 on the Duke rebounding list and Kyrie Irving and Alaa Abdelnaby for 123 on the Duke assists list.
