Two Blue Devils won ACC player of the week awards after the 45-10 win at Virginia Tech.

Center Jack Wohlabaugh was named ACC Offensive Lineman of the Week. He anchored the offensive line that helped pave the way for 45 points, 24 first downs and 422 yards. The line also didn’t give up a sack and has allowed quarterback Quentin Harris to be sacked just once all season. Duke converted half of its third downs, and the line opened holes for a run game that had 234 yards at a 5.7 yard average.

Senior Koby Quansah was named the ACC Linebacker of the Week. He had a game-high 13 tackles and also recovered a fumble to give the ball to the then-struggling Duke offense at the Virginia Tech 16, setting up the game’s first touchdown. Quansah also had a half sack and a pass breakup.

Here's Brandon Hill, talking about Quansah's big game:

It’s the first time Duke has had an ACC weekly award winner since Daniel Jones won Quarterback of the Week Nov. 12 of last year for his performance against North Carolina. It’s the first time Duke has had multiple winners in the same week since Oct. 15 of last year, following the win at Georgia Tech, when Joe Giles-Harris was Linebacker of the Week and Chris Rumph II won Rookie of the Week.

Giles-Harris was the last linebacker before Quansah to win the award. Quansah is the fourth Duke linebacker in the last decade to win the award, joining Kelby Brown (three times), Ben Humphreys (twice) and Giles-Harris (three times).

Wohlabaugh also won Offensive Lineman of the Week last year, for the week of Sept. 17. He’s the seventh Duke lineman to win the award in the last decade and third multiple winner, joining Perry Simmons and Cooper Helfet, who each won it twice. He’s the 14 Blue Devil to win the award multiple times. The last Duke center to win the award was Matt Skura, in 2014.
