Florida probably could have dropped 100 points at home against Vanderbilt on Saturday and still found a way to slide out of their No. 10 spot in the AP Top 25.

Entering Week 12 of the 2019 college football season, the Florida Gators (8-2, 5-2 SEC) are still the highest-ranked two-loss team in football, but have fallen a spot from No. 10 to No. 11 in the weekly poll, as the previously-No. 13 ranked Minnesota  (9-0, 6-0 BIG 10) jumped up to No. 8 following their 31-26 victory over the former No. 5 Penn State (8-1, 5-1 Big 10). Penn State now stands at No. 9.

While a slide isn't typical following wins like the one Florida pulled off on Saturday, it's hard to argue Minnesota's jump and keeping a one-loss Penn State over a two-loss Florida. Expect similar results in the College Football Playoff rankings that come out on Tuesday.

LSU (9-0, 5-0 SEC) maintained it's No. 1 ranking after beating the No. 4 Alabama (8-1, 5-1 SEC) in Tuscaloosa by a score of 46-41. No. 5 Georgia (8-1, 5-1 SEC), Florida, and No. 13 Auburn (7-2, 4-2 SEC) represent the Southeastern Conference yet again in the Top 25.

The Gators face a Missouri Tigers team (5-4, 2-3 SEC) that has been in and out of the Top 25 this season, but is on a three-game losing stretch on the road against Vanderbilt (2-7, 1-5 SEC), Kentucky (4-5, 2-5 SEC), and Georgia. The Tigers return home to face the Gators on Saturday at Faurot Field at Memorial Stadium in Columbia, Missouri, at noon.
