Another Florida Gator will attend a post-season prospect bowl game to help aid their NFL Draft stock.

Wide receiver Van Jefferson has accepted an invite to the annual East-West Shrine Bowl in St. Petersburg, FL.

Jefferson, a redshirt senior, has posted 480 yards and four touchdowns in Florida's pass-heavy offense this season, his second wearing orange and blue since transferring from Ole Miss.

The son of a former NFL wide receiver-turned-WR coach in Shawn Jefferson of the New York Jets, Jefferson was bound to receive NFL attention given his connection and route-running ability. Standing at 6-2, 197 lbs., Jefferson possesses a solid frame with length to play the boundary receiver position at the next level.

Jefferson joins defensive ends Jonathan Greenard and Jabari Zuniga, as well as running back Lamical Perine, in accepting invites to play in prospect bowl games this season. Greenard, Zuniga, and Perine have already accepted invites to the Senior Bowl.

It isn't too late for Jefferson to receive an invite to Mobile, though, as the rosters aren't filled yet and players will certainly drop from the game between now and January. But if Jefferson is to stick with the Shrine Bowl, there will be representatives, coaches, and scouts from all 32 NFL teams in attendance.
