Jonathan Greenard has earned himself some serious NFL coin after transferring to the University of Florida.

The graduate transfer and Gators' BUCK pass-rushing defensive end has been named the Walter Camp National Defensive Player of the Week for his performance against Missouri this past Saturday.

Greenard accumulated two sacks, five tackles for loss, seven QB pressures (per PFF), and six total tackles on the road against the Tigers. He leads Florida in all of those statistical categories this season, with six sacks, 12 tackles for loss, and 37 pressures.

The 22 year old edge rusher made the decision to transfer to Florida from Louisville following his graduation, as he missed all but the first nine snaps of the 2018 season with a broken wrist. Reuniting with his former defensive coordinator Todd Grantham, who also handles the BUCK position, Greenard's traits have been molded together to form a disruptive beast off the edge, something Louisville only got glimpses of during his career there.

Greenard recently accepted an invite to the 2020 Senior Bowl. Given an opportunity to shine in front of NFL scouts and management against the best senior talent in the nation, following an explosive breakout campaign, expect Greenard to shoot up draft boards as the 2020 NFL Draft looms this offseason.
