Draft Network's writer Jordan Reid completed a comprehensive report on the Top 40 HBCU prospects in the nation. The HBCU college interest in student-athletes is climbing after the criticism NFL executives, coaches, and scouts received from failing to draft a single player in the 2021 NFL Draft. Reid analyzed players from the four major conferences - SWAC, MEAC, CIAA, SIAC - and colleges in the Big South and Ohio Valley Conference (OVC).

Reid wrote, "This year's class contains plenty of intriguing prospects, and there’s a strong chance that there could be multiple players drafted from the HBCU ranks."

We will look at Reid's top 10 HBCU prospects of 2021 and give the link to the remainder of his top 40 candidates. Hopefully, these young men will be able to showcase their talents this fall and into the HBCU Combine, HBCU Legacy Bowl, and NFL Scouting Combine in 2022.
