It's been a great month for Blake Hebert on the recruiting front. The 2025 Lawrence (MA) Central Catholic quarterback has reported nine Power 5 scholarship offers since the calendar flipped over to May.

Iowa Football joined the party on Thursday.

"I had a great call with the offensive coordinator, coach (Brian) Ferentz," Hebert told HN. "He explained to me how I would fit by highlighting what he liked about me and what he saw on film."

Virginia, Nebraska, Pittsburgh, North Carolina, Virginia Tech, Ole Miss, Minnesota and Boston College also liked what they saw and offered Hebert scholarships this month. He previously reported scholarship offers from Rutgers in March. UConn and UMass jumped in last May.

Hebert (6-4, 210) has visited Penn State, Michigan, Virginia, Rutgers and Boston College.

"I'm looking to visit Clemson, Ole Miss, Virginia Tech, Minnesota, North Carolina, Pitt and Nebraska," he said.

Iowa is in the plan as well.

"I would like to get a feel for the culture they have created in Iowa. I'm really excited to get down there. I'm hoping that I can get down there soon," he said.

Hebert has been admiring Iowa from half a country away for awhile.

"I really like the Hawkeyes and always have. I like their offensive scheme and how they attack defenses," he said.

At the time of publishing for this article, Hebert was the second '25 signal caller with an Iowa offer, joining Michigan's Bryce Underwood, according to On3. The Hawkeyes have secured commitments from quarterbacks Marco Lainez in '23 and James Resar in '24.

247Sports ranks Hebert as the No. 1 player overall in his state for '25 and the 19th best quarterback nationally in the cycle.
