Caleb Pyfrom already reports an impressive list of scholarship offers. It includes one from home-state Nebraska.

Iowa has done a good job trying to pull the 2024 Omaha Central offensive lineman away from its rival to the west and others. The relationship continued growing Sunday when he stopped on campus for a junior day.

"I feel great about Iowa and they are towards the top right now," he told HN.

In addition to Iowa and Nebraska, Pyfrom (6-5, 300) also reports offers from Colorado, Illinois, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, Minnesota, Missouri, Penn State and  Wyoming. Many others are showing interest in him.

"Oklahoma, Penn State and Nebraska are the other visits I have planned right now," he said.

Pyfrom is hoping to get closer to other coaching staffs the way he did during his latest Iowa stop.

"I loved talking to (O-Line) coach (George) Barnett and (head) coach (Kirk) Ferentz. I feel like we bettered our relationship," he said.

The Hawkeyes have a strong history of developing offensive linemen.

"I love coach Barnett's philosophy on coaching and playing. It was nice to learn more about him," Pyfrom said.

He could see Iowa being a good fit for him.

"It seems like a tight-knit community. They work hard and develop people into NFL players," he said.
