The XFL draft has come to a close and while yesterday was disappointing to say the least, today had a happy ending for  3 former Wildcats.

Kendall Adams, who played on last years football team was drafted in the defensive back portion of the draft to the Houston Roughnecks. Adams is going home to Texas to play for The Houston Roughnecks and Coach June  Jones. The Roughnecks games will be played at TDECU Stadium on the campus of the University of Houston.

The next player drafted was Winston Dimel. Dimel played 3 years at fullback for the Cats before following his dad,Dana to UTEP. Dimel is once again a Wildcat, this time a Los Angeles Wildcat. Dimel will be coached by Winston Moss and play on the same field as the LA Chargers.

Ryan Mueller was the final Wildcat drafted today. Mueller will be playing Defensive End for the New York Guardians. He will be coached by Kevin Gilbride and play his home games in Metlife Stadium.

Im looking forward to watching all 3 of these guys play this Spring. There are still 4 former Wildcats hoping to make a roster in the free agent market.
