Some of you may remember the XFL from 2000, well its back after a 20 year hiatus and this time it should be good. In its previous stint it only lasted one season and lets face the facts it wasn't that great. The original XFL was kind of similar to a WWE match on a football field. Only some games were broadcast live and after a multitude of issues ratings dropped and it was over before it ever really began. This year every game will be on TV and will start the weekend after Superbowl 54. There will be 8 teams scattered around the United States and the closes team to Wildcat Country will be the St. Louis Battlehawks. This is all relevant to you because some of your old favorites from BSFS could possibly be drafted in the coming weeks.

Arthur Brown, former linebacker at KSU, drafted by the Baltimore Ravens should have a good shot at being picked up given his NFL experience. Will Geary, former Wildcat defensive tackle, out of Topeka,KS will have another shot after missing the cut on an AAF team. Danzel McDaniel hopes to make an XFL squad after playing some Arena Football for a few years. Kendall Adams, 2018 KSU Safety, that wasn't picked up after this past draft hopes to show the NFL what they missed out on. The last player with KSU ties wasn't on the team last year because he followed his dad, Dana to UTEP. Winston Dimel who was an outstanding fullback at K-State will try his crack at the XFL,as well. Abdul Beecham, who played guard for KSU last year has just been added to the player pool.

The XFL Draft will take place on October 15th and 16th. Feel free to follow me on twitter @KjschnugEMAW as i will be posting any updates on Cats being drafted there. I will also publish another article in a little over a week to summarize how the draft went for our former Cats!
